Raton, Fl. During his tenure Coach Goldberg amassed 16 final four appearances and 14 state
high school lacrosse titles for the Scots. Under his guidance, Saint Andrew’s Lacrosse was
ranked in the top 25 teams nationally in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and earned the recognition as the
#1 Lacrosse program in the Southeast by both Lax Power and Inside Lacrosse. Through his
steadfast work ethic, inspiring guidance and devotion to the game, Goldberg turned a sleepy
region of south Florida into a lacrosse hotbed. He was instrumental in creating an alumni
collegiate network at many of the nation’s finest universities including Yale, Princeton, Johns
Hopkins, Brown, Dartmouth, Virginia, Notre Dame and University of North Carolina. Coach
Goldberg has over 27 years coaching experience and has graduated over 35 high school All-
Americans in his career. He currently has more than 30 former students playing lacrosse at
the college level. His essence is about helping capable boys grow into exceptional young men
with respect, responsibility and resilience.

Goldberg is the co-director of Team Florida, the preeminent high school level lacrosse team,
showcasing the talents of the best players across the state of Florida. He serves as director for
numerous integral lacrosse programs across Florida and beyond, exposing high school players
to an impressive network of college coaches nationally. In 1998 Goldberg launched Premier
Player’s Lacrosse Academy, an educational institute serving student athletes and coaches.

Originally from Levittown, NY Goldberg played Division I Lacrosse for North Carolina State
University under a full scholarship. As Attack/Midfielder, he played for Team USA in 1986
and was named “Unsung Hero” of the series. Goldberg is a two-time world champion, playing
lacrosse professionally for the Detroit Turbos and as first-round draft pick for the New York
Saints. He earned the title of MVP for the 1988 World Championship Games and also served
as coach for Team Australia and Team Japan in the World Lacrosse Games. Goldberg acted as
Head Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Michigan State University (Div I) and as
Head Coach at Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy (Div III).

Along with countless other awards, Coach Goldberg was inducted into the 300 Win Club in 2006
by the US Lacrosse Coaching Association. To date, his career victories as a head coach are at
391.
